Went to DUMBO to see the art festival (DAC Art Under The Bridge Festival was the official title). The weather was pretty sketchy but it was fun and I had a great time, especially at this particular exhibit in Tobacco Warehouse.
This was titled “City of light” and it was by an artist named Reina Kudoba. It was basically Manhattan island and surrounding areas made of recycled plastic/glass bottles, but it was incredibly beautiful! It became increasingly cool when the sun went down and the light were finally turned on.
I had the pleasure to take lots of photos, and share with the artist. I was told that it took days to just assemble the whole thing, god knows how long it took for them to collect all those bottles! Anyway I wish to see more art installations like this because, this was pretty awesome.
