Damien Hirst @ Lever House

Damien Hirst @ Lever House, originally uploaded by racreations.

I happened to pass by this (apparently a $10 Million) project on my way back to work from a dentist appointment. I was still half-sedated, just picked up some narcotics that the dentist prescribed, it was very dark, it was cold, it started to rain, I didn’t have my umbrella… you get the picture.

It kinda freaked me out. I honestly thought that I was hallucinating from the dentist’s anesthesia. So I tried to act normal and just moved on as if I didn’t see anything. Good thing I didn’t take any of the prescription narcotics, I would’ve totally freaked.

Then I read and saw some pictures about it the next day (thanks to mayotic). It is called “School: The Archeology of Lost Desires, Comprehending Infinity, and the Search for Knowledge” by Damien Hirst. So I decided to go back and take a look. I spent about 10 minutes in there taking some pictures, and I think that was enough for me. With the weird background music playing, it made me feel a little dizzy again.

I feel bad for the people who work there… they have to see this everyday for a while.
